As a student enrolled with Health Industry Training, I could not be happier with the student administration staff and my trainer. An RTO that actually contacts you back and answers questions promptly. They communicate regularly and have offered support to me in many ways. The resources supplied are comprehensive, relevant and easy to read.  The assessment tasks were manageable and fair.

Health Industry Training provides professionalism and proactive training services to our health workers in rural and remote areas. My experience with HIT is that the organisation provides a comprehensive range of services to deliver the best quality training outcomes in the following areas:

  1. Setting the scene for change, by providing introduction/orientation, in order to create real change and to engage with students.
  2. A culturally safe working environment and consultation with appropriate people, to ensure the student is supported in their enrolment through to completion within the workplace.
  3. Providing quick response within an appropriate timeframe.
  4. Student satisfaction– students are very happy with the training context and the assessment is easy to complete.
  5. Organisation satisfaction– the organisation is very happy with the delivery of the training, especially the accessibility for students living in regional communities.
  6. A flexible and easy to use portal system so that the student is able to engage in their training anytime and anywhere.

I recommend HIT to anyone and everyone who I have worked with throughout my working experience, and I encourage other health sectors/agencies to contact HIT to participate in their accredited training.

I have enjoyed doing my Certificate IV in Primary Health Care, with the help of my teacher and HIT staff.
It has been an awesome experience. I appreciate what you have done for me to help complete my Cert. IV.

Mamu Health Service Limited has, over the past 4 years, utilised Health Industry Training as their preferred RTO in the delivery of Primary Health Care Training, and have found HIT to be outstanding and reliable, with staff that are helpful and friendly. We would recommend HIT to any health organisation looking for any future training requirements.

As a mum of three boys, studying can be difficult. But with Health Industry Training, I have found it to be stress free. My tutor is friendly and extremely helpful, and I am loving having the opportunity to further my career, whilst still being at home with my kids.

I loved studying with Health Industry Training. My trainer was supportive and knowledgeable,  gave me confidence in myself to complete the course, and skills I thought I’d never have.

It had been a long time since I had completed any study, so I was nervous about how I would go.  From the start, the trainers were helpful and willing to go beyond the norm to help me finish the course. The course, I found well structured and informative.  Thanks for making the experience of returning to study an interesting and easy experience!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole journey.  From studying, assignments and placement.  The placement was fantastic. I had an excellent supervisor at SNP Bray Park (Louise). The whole process from January to now has been a success for me.  Thanks so much to Health Industry Training, and especially to Fiona, for her excellent training and for pushing me to believe I could do this.

I’ve just graduated from my Cert. III in Pathology Collection with Health Industry Training.  I had a wonderful experience, and I learned a lot. I really enjoyed the practical aspect, where they had all the equipment that we needed for our training, before we went on to placement.  I’d highly recommend it to anybody.

I almost didn’t go for the course because I thought I was too old.  I’ve just turned 60.  But clearly, I wasn’t. I really enjoyed the course, and the teacher was fantastic. I don’t know that I would have completed it without Fiona’s input. The study, I found a little hard to start but, once I got into it, I really enjoyed it. I’ve learned more than I thought I would. Apart from the medical studies, I’ve learned a lot more about people and diversity. I made a lot of new friends, and now I’m looking for a position in hospital phlebotomy or theatre sterilisation of equipment.

I’ve just completed my Cert. III in Pathology Collection. It is my career goal to become a pathology collector, and to progress in that industry.  The trainers have been excellent. Fiona is detail oriented and very proactive. She spent a lot of quality time with her students. Yes, the course has been challenging, but the reward is having that qualification at the end, which is worth all of the effort that goes into it. HIT give follow up after the course as well, helping with interview techniques, resumes and cover letters. It’s good to know you’ve got that support after. Thanks Health Industry Training, I really enjoyed doing my course, and I’m really grateful for having this qualification towards my career goal.
